We had lunch here on a day visiting New London. Family group of seven. We were quickly seated and taken care of. We ordered an Old World style pizza, a Thai pizza, and a Clams Casino pizza, all three of which were very god.
Skip the casino food and make the drive. Surprisingly good meal at very affordable prices. After checking on the availability of options in the Mohegan Sun, we decided against the long wait times and make the 15 minute drive to The Recovery Room. Absolutely worth it! Parking is available and there is a long bar at which you can eat. The waitstaff appears to be all very young, but they are well trained and work very well together to provide delicious food like the Arincini, clam casino pizza and fried calamari that my table shared. The burgers are also outstanding and the fries at just the way I like them. If I’m in the area again, this will be my first choice.
Stopped in for lunch and was not disappointed! First off, as you can see from the pictures the portions were generous. Full plate of food. Everything was delicious! My chicken sandwich was juicy!! Our waitress was wonderful. And I’ve already picked out what I’m eating the next time we visit
Went on a Friday evening and it was bustling but we were seated and served efficiently (I think we got lucky though, so it's probably best to make a reservation before you go at peak hours). The pizza was delicious: all of the goodness of thin crust pizza without the drawbacks of the burnt bottom (that you get from some other places that think the burn is a good feature). The cheese was a very satisfying level of stringy and melty.
We've been driving past this place for years & for no good reason ever stopped. HUGE MISTAKE!! Server was great, food was Amazing & fresh Martini special was YUMMM & all very reasonably priced for gigantic portions. EXCELLENT & highly recommend!
Service was excellent, and the food was incredible! Our server, Ellyses, was fantastic—even though we arrived right when the restaurant opened, she took great care of us. The food was served surprisingly fast, making the experience even better. Highly recommend!

Placed a to-go order with the Recovery Room this evening and was very pleased with the food quality and the preparation. The staff were very welcoming and overall this was a great experience. All of our food selections were great. Certainly will go back again.
